Tom Brady’s retirement has been a dizzying experience

There’s busy, and then there is whatever Tom Brady has done during the first few months of his retirement.

Following the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s decision to call it quits following the 2022 season, Brady has dipped his toes in almost every sports and business venture imaginable, sparked a new romance, and taken on a new career as a commentator.

And the hits keep coming: Brady and Delta Airlines just this week announced a partnership that will allow the former quarterback to help build “teamwork tools for the airline’s more than 90,000 employees,” the company wrote in a press release.

“He played with the greatest teams in the world, I think we run the greatest team in the airline space in the world, and putting our two brands together, magic’s going to happen,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said.

Brady has also joined a somewhat eccentric quartet of sports teams as a partial owner, running the gamut from an iconic NFL franchise to an electric boat racing team.

In March, Brady announced he was buying a partial ownership stake in the WNBA’s Aces, and the defending champs have since rattled off a historically dominant season, currently standing at 32-6.

“It was a matter of time until I was back in the building with some of the greatest athletes in the world,” Brady said in a video announcing the move. “I grew up with three older sisters and they were all incredible athletes in their own right. They were role models to me. It’s where my love of women’s sports began.”

Just a few months later, Brady linked up with the Las Vegas Raiders to become a part owner, saying it was “something that I’m interested in doing for the rest of my life.”

Soon, the legendary signal-caller added two more teams to his ownership docket, signing on to join English soccer club Birmingham City FC as well as becoming the owner of a team in the UIM E1 World Championship, an electric boat racing league that will begin in 2024.

All of this goes without mentioning a summer fling with Irina Shayk, the supermodel who Brady was seen with in July outside of his Los Angeles home and were spotted again a month later in London.

There’s also a slew of other ventures the quarterback is a part of.

Brady partnered with Hertz in March; Runs his Brady Brand apparel company; his TB12 fitness brand, which has locations in Florida, Boston and LA; his production company; and his NFT company, Autograph.

Brady has also made his debut at FOX Sports, where he signed on to a 10-year, $375 million contract to be a signature face of the network’s NFL coverage as its top game analyst.

He will not join the network full time until next season.

Oh, and he will be back in New England Sunday so the Patriots can honor him during their season opener against the Eagles.
