Trump calls ‘The View’ co-host, ex-staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin a ‘sleazebag,’ ‘loser’

Donald Trump launched a verbal attack at his former White House staffer and current co-host of “The View” Alyssa Farah Griffin, calling her a “sleazebag,” “loser” and a “backbencher,” in a post to Truth Social Saturday.

Trump’s attacks come as Griffin, who also is a CNN contributor, defended the network’s controversial town hall special with the former president, saying lost him votes and exposed him as “radioactive for independents and moderates.”

“America got to see who he is last night: a ranting, raving lunatic, who sided with Vladimir Putin,’ Griffin said of her former boss.

Her commentary seemed to set off Trump, who shared an old video of Griffin singing his praise during her tenure at the White House.

“Backbencher in the Trump Administration, Alyssa Farah, like so many other sleazebags, had only glowing reviews of the Trump Administration until long after she left,” Trump posted.

Trump launched his attack on Griffin on Truth Social Saturday night.

“A loser then, and a loser now! he added.

In a follow-up post, Trump continued his tirade against Griffin, praising the “lovely” CNN Town Hall and claiming without evidence that both CNN and “The View” were being pressured to now fire Griffin as a result of her criticism of Trump.

“Word is that they are revolting at the ‘View’ and CNN, and want Farrah OUT! Much more to come,” Trump wrote.

“She tried to delete her words, but we got them ALL. I don’t see how she lasts because this ‘stuff’ shows what a phony she is,” Trump said, alluded to the video he shared earlier of Griffin singing his praise.

Trump then made mention of the intense backlash the controversial town hall drew in from CNN staffers and left-wing pundits — noting the televised special paid off in high ratings, drawing in over 3 million viewers.

“They won’t be able to take the Radical Left Heat, just as CNN wants to fire the ‘boss’ because of the absolutely lovely Town Hall they just put on,” he said.

“One of their biggest ratings nights in years, & they are begging for mercy. CNN, let’s do another one?”

Earlier this month, Griffin said that was an “open secret” that Trump was inappropriate with young female staffers during her time at the White House.

“It’s a pattern. It was visible. It didn’t take a genius to see it. It was reported, I don’t know if it was handled, but this is a man who does not respect women,” she told The Daily Beast’s podcast “The New Abnormal” in the wake of Trump being found liable for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carrol.
