Giants 2023 NFL schedule: Dates and opponents for Weeks 1-18
The Giants will open their season with a nationally televised game Sept. 10 against their NFC East rivals, the Cowboys, the first of five prime-time games on the Giants’ 2023 schedule.
The NFL granted the Giants’ request to have two of their long trips in back-to-back weeks, allowing the team to stay out west and save the wear-and-tear of multiple cross-country flights.
The Giants will play against the Cardinals in Glendale, Ariz. in Week 2 and the plan is to stay in the Phoenix area for a few days before traveling to Santa Clara, Calif., for a Week 3 game against the 49ers on “Thursday Night Football.’’
The Giants, in what is designated as their home game, will face the Jets at MetLife Stadium — the building the two teams share — on Oct. 29.
There are three consecutive road games in Weeks 5, 6 and 7, the bye comes in Week 13 and the Giants have a “Monday Night Football’’ home game against the Packers on Dec. 11.
The Giants have a Christmas Day game in Philadelphia against the Eagles and close their regular season on Jan. 7 with a home game against the Eagles.
