Gia Duddy is keeping the celebrations rolling following a wild experience at last week’s 2023 NFL Draft.
In a video posted Thursday on TikTok, the girlfriend of Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis expressed excitement over “senior week” as her undergrad days at Penn State wind down.
“Going to the gym to ‘be healthy’ even though I plan on absolutely destroying my liver tonight,” the message in the clip read, along with Duddy’s caption, “Senior week starts now!”
Duddy, 21, majored in behavioral health at Penn State, according to Visitour, which is an interview platform for college students.
It’s been a thrilling few days for the budding influencer, who traveled to Kansas City last week to support Levis, 23, at the NFL Draft.
Although the former Kentucky quarterback was widely projected to be selected in the first round, Levis endured an excruciating wait in the green room instead as his peers — fellow quarterbacks Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Anthony Richardson — were taken by the Panthers, Texans, and Colts, respectively, within the top five.
Levis’ loved ones became Twitter talking points following the ordeal, with internet detectives even speculating what Duddy said during the first-round waiting game.
The quarterback’s slide mercifully stopped quickly on Friday, when the Titans drafted him 33rd overall.
Levis, who received the call from Titans brass while at home in Connecticut, told local reporters how “the tears came immediately” after he was drafted.
“I didn’t really know how the conversation was going to go. It’s one of those things where you feel like you are going to handle yourself and be composed, but the waterworks started flowing and emotions got overwhelming,” he said.
Levis then celebrated with family and Duddy, whom he has been dating for more than two years.
“Let the adventure begin… Nashville here we come !!” Duddy exclaimed Monday on Instagram.
“It’s hard to put in words what it’s like watching your best friend’s dreams come true. Proud would be an understatement— I don’t know anyone more deserving. Time to get back to work @will_levis . TITAN UP.”
