King Charles snubs Princess Diana’s brother from coronation, invites Camilla’s ex-husband: report

King Charles has made a brutal snub of his former brother-in-law by leaving him off the coronation guest list, according to a report.

The monarch, who is set to be formally crowned on May 6 alongside his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, invited a total of 2,000 people to the historic ceremony, but did not extend an invitation to the late Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, the Independent reported.

The move to omit his late ex-wife’s brother from the guest list has shocked the Spencer family, the outlet reported.

Meanwhile, Camilla’s ex-husband, Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles, is reportedly set to attend the coronation.

“What’s galling is that Earl Spencer may well have turned down the invitation for obvious historic reasons, but this brutal exclusion left no option for any elegant diplomacy,” a source close to Spencer told the outlet.

Sources believe that the decision to omit him from the guest list will serve as a sucker punch to the already bruised relationship between Diana and Camilla’s camps.

“It is pretty brutal, even though it would have been tricky for him had he been invited,” another insider told the outlet. “But that would have allowed him to decline rather than being dropped and snubbed.”

Charles and Diana tied the knot in 1981 and went on to welcome Prince William and Prince Harry during their ill-fated union.

The famously unhappy pair separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996 — less than one year before Diana died at age 39 in a Paris car crash.

At her funeral at Westminster Abbey in 1997, Diana’s brother wrote in his address that he would always look after her sons.

It was assumed that he would remain part of the royal family’s inner circle, the outlet adds.

The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace and reps for Spencer for comment.

What you need to know about the coronation:

It’s been reported that the guest list for the King’s coronation is very celebrity-heavy, with British TV presenter duo Ant & Dec, and singer Nick Cave being invited while other members of the aristocratic old guard were not.

Half of the 24 dukes who played a key part in the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 were also not invited.
