‘Jeopardy!’ contestant reveals he was in this popular film

We’ll take fun facts for 200.

“Jeopardy!” contestant Dan Czekalski surprised audience members Wednesday after revealing that he had a small part as an army recruiter in the 2004 romantic drama “The Notebook.”

When prompted to explain by host Mayim Bialik, Czekalski revealed that he managed to get the job through his college roommate.

“So, when I was in college in Charleston, South Carolina, we found out a movie production was coming to town,” explained the actor. “One of my roommates lucked into the job of assistant to the executive producer.”

“I somehow parlayed that into a speaking role in ‘The Notebook.'”

Sadly, the South Carolina native’s fifteen minutes of fame were cut down to mere seconds.

“They ended up cutting it down so you only see the side of my face for a couple of seconds,” stated Czekalski. “But I’m still in the credits!”

Bialik, 47, responded by saying that it was still “pretty awesome.”

According to the actor’s IMDB page, Czekalski has not been involved in any acting projects since and now works as a project manager.

The Post reached out to Czekalski for comment.

Despite just barely failing to beat Hannah Wilson’s $25,800 with his own $24,300, Czekalski managed to win the heart of one viewer who commented that the one-time actor was “gorgeous.”

The game show’s Instagram video also called out “The Notebook” star Ryan Gosling.

Czekalski is not the only movie star to appear on the beloved TV show.

In March 2018, Paris Themmen — who played gun-slinging Mike Teavee in the 1971 adaptation of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” — appeared on the show.

Themmen claimed to TMZ that former host Alex Trebek knew of his role in the film but opted to present the former actor’s fun fact about backpacking instead.

“Jeopardy!” came under fire recently after fans started trolling the show online over its “misleading” final clue that left all three contestants stumped.

“The first name of this title character is from Hebrew for ‘devoted to God’; his last name suggests he can be easily duped,” read Bialik.

All the contestants answered incorrectly with the correct answer being Lemuel Gulliver from “Gulliver’s Travels.”
