Vanna White scolds ‘Wheel’ host Pat Sajak over cruel prank on his wife

That’s one misfortunate game.

“Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak was scolded — visually, at least — by co-host Vanna White after revealing that he plays a morbid trick on his wife every year on her birthday.

The 76-year-old made the revelation Friday at the end of the show, saying that every year when his wife — photographer and former model Lesly Brown — blows out the candles on her cake, he grips his heart and falls to the floor.

“I do this … this thing I do every one of Lesly’s birthdays and she absolutely hates it,” laughed Sajak as he closed the show. “We put a cake in front of her, she closes her eyes, she makes a wish, and when she blows out the candle, I clutch my heart and fall to the ground.

“She never finds that amusing, I don’t understand,” he added.

Turning to White, who could be seen grimacing toward the audience, Sajak then asked, “Don’t you find that funny?”

“No,” stated a steely-eyed White, 66.

Sajak concluded the broadcast with a limp “OK” just before the credits rolled.

The Post reached out to Sajak, Brown and White for additional comment.

Brown, 58, married the game show legend in 1989 following his divorce from Sherrill Sajak in 1986. The longtime couple had two children, Maggie and Patrick.

Though uncharacteristic of White to dish out criticism of her co-host of four decades, Sajak has earned his fair share of criticism from viewers recently.

Earlier this month, fans blasted Sajak for “robbing” a college-age contestant of $100,000 in a botched bonus round question.

Sajak also made viewers uncomfortable during the show’s WWE week when he asked wrestling star Austin Theory to take off his shirt mid-show.
